The Verbal Test of Practical Judgment or VPJ® was designed to assess judgment and to predict a person's ability to successfully manage basic (ADL) and instrumental (IADL) activities of daily living. It can be used to help clinicians evaluate their patients’ decision-making skills, inform treatment interventions, and to determine the level and kind of support that may be needed to ensure a safe transition in care.

The VPJ®-Hebrew (VPJ®-H) is a translated and normed version of the VPJ® and offers healthcare practitioners access to three on demand training modules, the VPJ®-H test in both English and Hebrew and a crosswalk table to determine each patient’s judgment ability.
